Matthew Scott has building and construction in his blood. After spending years of conditioning during his youth working for his father's construction company, he attended East Carolina University, where he achieved his Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management with a Minor in Business Administration. He came home and went back to work for his father applying all that he learned, until it was time to turn the key on his own dream, J.M. Scott Construction. Nine years of growth, full time staff, and a multitude of professional trade contractors on call make Matt and his business one of the best available in Central Virginia, with hundreds of successfully completed projects in the books. MATT

HEATHER
Heather has been an invaluable asset to the J.M. Scott Construction team since joining the team almost five years ago. She was initially hired to be our Office Manager but has since taken on many of the responsibilities associated with running a small business. In addition to the Office Manager responsibilities, she also assists with pre-construction and project management tasks associated with each project.
When she isn’t working, Heather enjoys being outdoors with her husband, Scott. She also has quite the green thumb, as she spends much of her free time tending her gardens around the house. She is a native of the Pittsburgh, PA area and is a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
JONAS
Jonas has been working for J.M. Scott Construction for four years. Jonas started as a Superintendent but has recently taken on project management responsibilities, in addition to managing projects and mentoring new superintendents.
He is a very detail oriented and organized asset to our team. Jonas is a newlywed and spends much of his time with his new wife, Jennifer and their two children, Aliza and Gabriel.
JORDAN
Jordan has been working for J.M. Scott Construction for three years. He started as a laborer, and he continues to learn many valuable skills. He works diligently and has recently been promoted to Superintendent.
Jordan is continuing his education in Architecture. In his spare time, he can be found at the gym or on the golf course.
ERICK
Erick has been working with J.M. Scott Construction for almost five years and was brought on as a full-time employee three years ago. Prior to joining our team, he worked on many of our projects with one of our valuable subcontractors.
Erick started as a laborer, and through his dedication and hard work he has recently been promoted to Superintendent. When he isn’t at work, Erick enjoys learning about new technology and is the go-to person for knowing the best devices. He likes superhero movies and going to comedy shows.
